You Letter, You Letter, You Bet
Here’s a fun exercise from Dave Pell: Where does each letter of the alphabet take you when entered singly into Firefox’s auto-completing location bar (aka the AwesomeBar)? Here are mine, skipping anything work-related which, sadly, accounts for many top spots:
A — My Google Analytics Dashboard (I’m not sure why I bother, there are four of you and I know where you all live.)
B — A Google spreadsheet I use to track by blood pressure (A lot, it seems.)
C — CBS fantasy football news (Of apparent great help in the 2008 league championship run of Akili’s Heel.)
D — Del.icio.us
E — Another Google spreadsheet where I track our finances (The fact that E takes me there speaks to the depths of our issues in this area.)
F — The afore-mentioned fantasy football league at Yahoo! (The fact that F takes me here rather than the finances spreadsheet speaks to the reason for the depths of our issues in that area.)
G — GrandCentral
H — Hahlo
I — Instapaper
J — Joe Lazarus
K — kung fu grippe
L — The Pool Room
M — NearlyFreeSpeech.NET member site
N — Google Notebook
O — Those effing finances again
P — Yahoo! Pipes
Q — A Twitter search (RIP.)
T — Twitter
U — Google Reader (That’s weird. It’s really a direct link to one of my labels, and that URL has “user” in it.)
V — Google Reader (Perhaps I spend too much time reading what other people write?)
X — A tweet
