My favorite thing about all this Microsoft and Yahoo! hoopla is that the trademark makes Microsoft sound so gosh darned excited!

I am writing on behalf of the Board of Directors of Microsoft to make a proposal for a business combination of Microsoft and Yahoo!

We have great respect for Yahoo!

Our lives, our businesses, and even our society have been progressively transformed by the Web, and Yahoo!

The definitive proxy statement/prospectus will be mailed to shareholders of Yahoo!

It has now been more than two months since we made our proposal to acquire Yahoo!

This would make the market far less competitive, in sharp contrast to our own proposal to acquire Yahoo!

Actual results could differ materially because of factors such as Microsoft Corporation’s ability to achieve the synergies and value creation contemplated by the proposed transaction, Microsoft Corporation’s ability to promptly and effectively integrate the businesses of Yahoo!

Man, those Microsoft PR folks are pumped!
