Born and raised in Cincinnati and schooled in Bloomington, I now live in Salem with my beautiful and long suffering wife, two fast-growing sons, and a golden retriever who patently refuses to do so.
There is a fantastically good chance that the header image you see above was stolen from the excellent If We Don't, Remember Me. I sure do hope that's OK, because they are all so awesome.
Working from home has been an incredible boon for me, both in terms of quality of life and work. I’m much more productive at home than at the office and being home let’s me avoid my hellish commute and spend time with my family that I just wouldn’t otherwise get. On the days that I do go into the office, when I get home the kid is already in bed, my wife has already had dinner, and is an hour away from going to bed herself.
Being able to work from home, for me, is a benefit on which I can’t place a price.
