The Flickr implementation, coupled with their existing API, means we could all offer things like “log into my personal site for family (or friends)” and defer buddylist - and FOAF - management to the well-designed Flickr site

Oooooh! I’ve been thinking about this since I discovered OpenID. I think I’m more excited by the prospect of OpenID-based ACLs than I am about the SSO. Thanks to cdent for the pointer.
